Lane Extends Lead

FLW Tour rookie Bobby Lane didn't fish last week at the Harris Chain Bassmaster, but his lead increased because Bassmaster Tour rookies as a whole didn't do so well at the Harris Chain. Lane's 8-point lead is now almost 40 points over Pennsylvania's Dave Wolak, who remains in 2nd. Other notable movement:

Arkansas' Chip Hawkins jumps nine spots into 4th after a 23rd at the Harris Chain.

California's Greg Gutierrez jumps 17 slots into 9th after finishing just out of the cut (13th) at the Harris Chain, the best finish of any true rookie.

FLW Tour rookies have another shot at moving up or down this week, as that tour visits Lake Toho.
